Prosjektet best\u00e5r i prinsippet av to deler. Den nedre delen av kornsiloen (tegldelen) samt t\u00e5rnet, som er et markant innslag i bybildet i Larvik, er bevart og rehabilitert. Den \u00f8vre delen er revet og erstattet med to nye etasjer. Utformingen av prosjektet er gjort etter moderne antikvariske prinsipper, i n\u00e6rt samarbeid med tiltakshaver, Larvik kommune og antikvariske myndigheter. Det har v\u00e6rt l\u00f8pende dialog mellom\u00a0oppdragsgiver,\u00a0arkitekt\u00a0og offentlige myndigheter gjennom prosjektutviklingen.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Prosjektet er et godt eksempel p\u00e5 en helhetlig og sammensatt prosess, og viser hvordan man kan h\u00e5ndtere mange av utfordringene knyttet til ny bruk av eksisterende bygg. I tillegg er prosjektet et godt eksempel p\u00e5 viktigheten av et godt samspill med lokale og regionale
